You will then be met by your guide and driver outside the airport.

    Transfer to Hanoi city

City of HANOI: The capital of Vietnam, where several influences merge, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Asia. The city center has changed little since 1954. The general structure has remained the same: large and wide avenues lined with trees, many lakes and green spaces. The monuments and museums blend harmoniously into an admirable site, if only for the beauty of the lakes that separate the districts like so many liquid borders. Indeed, Hanoi is a city of water with more than 70 lakes.

The temple of literature: Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam was the first university in Vietnam. Dedicated to Confucius, this temple was built in 1070 and then renovated by the Nguyen at the beginning of the 19th century. The 350m by 70m enclosure is divided into 5 courtyards.

Ngoc Son Temple: Located north of the Lake of the Restored Sword, Jade Mountain Temple.

The Lake of the Restored Sword : This lake offers a peaceful and pleasant stopover and the opportunity for a walk at the end of the day.

    Lunch at the restaurant.

The old quarter of 36 streets and the big market: historic area, candidate to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Formed from the 15th century, it is a set of streets with urban planning contrasting with the avenues of the city. Each street took on a professional specialty, representing a single trade or corporation, often that of an entire village

The Long Bien Bridge: (exterior visit only), former Paul Doumer Bridge, 1682m bridge built by the French in 1902 and inaugurated by Paul Doumer, then Governor General of Indochina. According to him: "the most remarkable work that has been carried out in the Far East". Designed by the Gustave Eiffel company. Very beautiful view of the Red River and Hanoi.

Hanoi Ceramic Road (Red River Embankment Ceramic Road) : The Thang Long-Hanoi Millennium Road, officially entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the “world’s longest ceramic fresco,” announced painter Nguyen Thu Thuy, who initiated the project. The 3,950m-long road includes 21 sections starting at An Duong Gate and ending at Van Kiep Gate. Each section is a unique work of art inspired by the history or landscapes of Vietnam, created by master craftsmen from pottery villages such as Bat Trang, Phu Lang, Chu Dau, Binh Duong, Vinh Long, Bau Truc, etc., as well as by foreign artists.

Hanoi Opera House: (exterior visit only), built in 1911 and largely inspired by the Palais Garnier, with 600 seats, it is the most important theater in Hanoi. On the right stands the new building of the luxurious Hilton Hotel, blending well into the landscape. On the square, new fashion and haute couture stores are opening their doors, witnesses to the Vietnamese craze for what comes from outside..

Trang Tien Street: or otherwise called Paul Bert Street, is the most luxurious road in the capital Hanoi (Vietnam) during the colonial period. This street has gradually changed its appearance over time, but there are still subtle cultural and architectural peculiarities of the past.

Once you have entered the immense room where the glass sarcophagus is placed, you head towards Ho Chi Minh’s residence, a house on stilts in the middle of the pine trees.

The train passing in the street at the foot of the houses: In Hanoi, there is a train that passes in front of people's homes. People usually spread out on the railway tracks due to lack of space, but as soon as the train arrives, everyone packs up and then life goes on! Built during the French Indochina era, this railway seems timeless

On the other side, separated by a dike (the street "Thanh Nien" Youth) the small White Silk Lake (Ho Truc Bach) bordered by magnificent flamboyant trees whose flowering colors the banks in blood red tones.

Tran Quoc Pagoda: located on a peninsula jutting out into the West Lake. The garden at the back is what makes the place so charming. The original cult, located on the banks of the Red River, dates back to the 6th century. Because of this origin, this pagoda is the oldest in Vietnam, one of the most typical of North Vietnam. Sunset is a particularly good time to visit.

The evening, Ta Hien Beer Street is simply the place to be for nightlife in Hanoi, whether for locals, backpackers, flashpackers or holidaymakers.
