DAY 1 : HA NOI – BA BE LAKE
Departure for Ba Be at 07:00.
Le lac de Ba Be is a quiet, less touristy place, useful for relaxing and avoiding the stress of big cities. It is among the 100 largest freshwater lakes in the world and is located in the Ba Be National Park. The exceptional value of the lake is centered on its original geological landscape, geomorphology and biological diversity.

DAY 2 : BA BE LAKE – CAO BANG

We will continue the day by going down towards the Ba Be National Park. A wetland of international importance classified by UNESCO, Ba Be National Park extends over five communes, covering 7,610 ha. The place is renowned for its great biodiversity of exceptional value presented by its many animal and plant species. A motorbike ride along the park’s trails offers you sumptuous landscapes before reaching its heart, Ba Be Lake.

In the afternoon, get ready for the drive to Ban Gioc.
Stop for a scenic hike in Quoc Toan district.
Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.
DAY 3 : CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – CAO BANG

Arrive at the waterfall and take a short walk, go down to the Quay Son River and get on a raft to visit the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam.
Ban Gioc Waterfall is the largest and most majestic in Vietnam, also known as the largest in Southeast Asia. 70 meters high and 208 meters wide in its entirety, spread over three levels of waterfalls, Ban Gioc echoes an extraordinary epic, punctuated by water and limestone rocks.

In the afternoon, visit of Nguom Ngao limestone cave, located about 2 km from Ban Gioc. Walking in this cool cave gives you a great opportunity to admire the beauty of stalagmites and stalactites.
We will embark for the remote area of Trung Khach district. Make a short stop on the way to visit Phuc Sen Nung village where you can learn how local blacksmiths make their farming tools such as knives, sickles, plow plates ...

DAY 4 : CAO BANG – MEO VAC
Breakfast at the local's house.
We will head to Meo Vac.
In the afternoon, arrival in Meo Vac, check-in at the hotel and relaxation.

DAY 5 : MEO VAC – DONG VAN – YEN MINH

On the way to Yen Minh, stop at Ma Pi Leng Pass. The landscape of the col de Ma Pi Leng is unique with its majestic and wild beauty. From the pass, you can see thousands of grey mountains concatenating on the horizon. Next to the road, you will find an abyss and a tiny Nho Que River, at the foot of a huge chasm.

Dong Van Karst Plateau is a unique combination of geo-heritage and cultural heritage. Up to 80% of the karst formations in Dong Van Plateau are limestone formed by environmental conditions and different stages of nature development. The landscape is beautiful and the local life and culture of hill tribes such as the H'mong are unforgettable highlights of your trip. Places of interest today include Pho Cao; Pho Bang and the residence of the Vuong family, also called "Hmong King's Palace".».
Arrive in Du Gia – Yen Minh, home of the Tay ethnic group, living on stilt houses. Check in to a local homestay. Take an easy walk around the village and surrounding area for the rest of the day.

DAY 6 : YEN MINH – QUAN BA – HOANG SU PHI

Departure for Hoang Su Phi
Typical photo ops are at Quan Ba Pass and Quan Ba Heavenly Gate with a few steps leading to a hilltop viewpoint..

We will head to the Karst Plateau Geopark. The road to the Ha Giang mountainous area will offer you beautiful photos along the way.
Overnight stay at a local home in Hoang Su Phi.
DAY 7 : HOANG SU PHI
Breakfast at the local's house.
We will spend the whole day on another hike to explore the montagnes de Hoang Su Phi

This area is known for its spectacular rice terraces and has also been recognized as a national heritage site. Highlights of the day also include the local hill tribes you will meet along the way, such as the Tay, the Black Yao or the Yao with a long tunic, the Red Yao. Your picnic will be served in a local family somewhere during the hike.
In the late afternoon, return to the lodge for the night.

DAY 8 : HOANG SU PHI – HA NOI

Back to Ha Noi. There are stops on the way to take pictures
