Welcome at the airport and transfer to the beautiful city of Malacca.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Malacca is rich in colonial history that dates back to the beginning of the 15th century with the arrival of the Portuguese, the Dutch and then the English. These influences are clearly visible in the architecture and cuisine.

You are embarking on a Melaka River Cruise, for a first approach to the city and its colonial architecture.

DAY 02 : MALACCA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Vyou walk through centuries of history starting with the oldest example of European architecture in Southeast Asia “A Famosa”. Climb up the St Paul's Hill to visit the church eponymous, before descending towards one of the best examples of Dutch architecture "The Stadthuys", the old town hall. The square is today filled with "Trishaws" with flamboyant decoration.
Walk in “temple street”, the street of temples and mosques and discovery of the Chen Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, dedicated to Kuan Yin goddess of Mercy.

Visit of the Baba & Nyonya Museum, which perfectly reproduces the interior of a traditional 19th century Peranakan townhouse.
Free late afternoon to stroll around at your leisure.

DAY 03 : MALACCA – PUTRAJAYA – KUALA LUMPUR

Transfer to Kuala Lumpur.
Stop along the way to visit the Largest Chinese cemetery in Southeast Asia outside China. There are tombs there dating back more than 200 years.
Second stop at Putrajaya.
New administrative capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya successfully combines architecture and nature. Nearly 40% of its territory is devoted to green spaces. Lush parks and botanical gardens are scattered throughout the city. Avant-garde, the city has replaced hectares of oil palm plantations.
Photo stops at the Dataran Putra Palace of Justice, the Prime Minister's Office and the Mosque.
Lunch at the edge of the Putrajaya Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world (650 hectares), fed by two rivers that have been diverted.

Visit of the Thean Hou Temple, six-level temple, dedicated to the goddess of sea Mazu. It offers a beautiful view of the towers of Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 04 : KUALA LUMPUR

Explore Kuala Lumpur on a full-day guided walking and cycling tour public transportone of the best ways to soak up the city and its wonderful diversity. “KL”, as it is called by its locals, is a harmonious blend of culture and history. Influenced by the Malay, Indian and Chinese peoples, this tour will take you through scents and flavors.
On board a monorail, you are heading towards the Chow Kit Market where you will find all kinds of products. This is the largest covered market in Kuala Lumpur. Once there, you will walk through this labyrinth of stalls that presents a wide range of local products: many varieties of seafood and fish, vegetables of various shapes and colors, meat, spices, and a multitude of fruits.
You take public transport to the Kampung Bahru village, an enclave in modern Kuala Lumpur. Founded in 1899, its inhabitants claim and wish to preserve the traditional Malay way of life.
Continue exploring Kuala Lumpur by taking public transport to the historic centre towards the Masjid Jamek Mosque (closed on Fridays and during prayers). Built in 1909 at the confluence of the two rivers, Klang and Gombak, its location is of great historical importance. Indeed, the meeting of these two rivers marks the founding place of Kuala Lumpur. Today, it is the oldest mosque still standing in the city. The Mughal architecture, typical of North India, inspired the construction of Masjid Jamek. Continue to « Little India», a mix of cultures and products. Small post-war shops sell many authentic Indian items, such as brightly colored traditional costumes, typical sweets and handicrafts..
Your tour takes you to the historic colonial center, Merdeka Square. In the streets lined with architectural wonders, your guide explains the origin of the buildings and the different ethnic groups that have influenced the history of the city. There are many beautiful colonial facades dating from 1800 to 1930.
Let yourself be tempted by a traditional lunch, Indian or Chinese.
In the afternoon, visit “Sze Ya”, oldest Taoist temple present in the city. It is located near the Hindu temple Sri Maha Mariamman. Built in 1864 by one of the founding fathers of Kuala Lumpur, it was erected in honour of the goddesses Sin Sze and Si Sze Ya. The second, built in 1873, was originally located near the old Kuala Lumpur railway station and was rebuilt at its current location in 1885. It is the oldest temple in Kuala Lumpur that still welcomes worshipers. 242 idols adorn the doors of this popular temple which marks the starting point of the annual religious festival Thaipusam, a procession ending at Batu Caves.

DAY 05 : KUALA LUMPUR – SELANGOR – KUALA LUMPUR

Departure from your hotel to Kuala Selangor, for a first immersion in Malaysian rural culture. Observation of fishing methods and traditional cultures of the "Kampung" people, discovery of oil palm plantations.
Continue to Bukit Melawati to see the impressive Melaka Strait and the ancient Portuguese forts.
YOU dine on delicious seafood caught just hours before your arrival, then you head by boat to a magical spectacle. Thousands of tiny but bright fireflies flutter in and out of the branches, creating a shimmering mangrove spectacle reflected in the river.
Back to Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 06 : KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS

You are leaving today for Cameron Highlands.
Continue to the tin factory of Royal Selangor, whose history dates back to 1885. What was once a small family business has become a renowned multinational, playing a definite role in the development of the Malaysian capital.
Lunch on site.
New stop at Tapah then to the Iskandar waterfall before continuing on your way.
Arrival at Cameron Highlands and end of the day free to enjoy the fresh air of the high plateaus.

It begins with a photo stop and a short walk in the tea plantations, more beautiful than ever in the early morning. Continue to the heights of the Mossy Forest, on the Mont Brinchang, at over 2,000 meters above sea level, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Short drive and visit of the BOH tea plantation created by a British businessman during the colonial period in 1929. You will discover the manufacturing processes at the factory before taking a short tour of the largest plantation in Southeast Asia, spread over more than 3,000 hectares. While 85% of the production is dedicated to Malaysia, the rest is exported internationally, particularly to Singapore and the Sultanate of Brunei. (Factory and tea house closed on Mondays and public holidays).

DAY 08 : CAMERON HIGHLANDS – IPOH – KUALA KANGSAR – PENANG

After enjoying the magic of the highlands you take the road to the old mining town of Ipoh, which expanded after 1845, with the discovery of iron deposits. The British settlers left behind beautiful colonial buildings that you discover during a walking tour of the city..
Discovery of the Perak Tong Cave Temple. Created in 1926, this cave with beautiful murals houses, among other things, a large statue of Buddha. You can climb the 250 steps that cross the temple and lead, along the cave, to a view overlooking Ipoh..
Stop at Kuala Kangsar, former royal capital. Passing in front of the Ubudiah Mosque remarkable for its immense golden dome, then in front of the former residence of the sultan Istana Kenangan, very beautiful building built exclusively in wood and woven bamboo.

DAY 09 : PENANG

Discovery of the old city center, world-famous for its « street art ».
Since artist Ernest Zacharevic's first solo exhibition, Penang has supported 16 international artists to further enrich the city's cultural hub, Georgetown, UNESCO World Heritage Site with an interactive series of murals inspired by the daily lives of locals. Religious sites or important historical districts like Harmony Street have merged with the street art that you discover as you immerse yourself in the heart of Georgetown’s personality.
You then discover the Khoo Khongsi house : Both the exterior and interior of the house are very richly decorated. The Khoo are a prosperous clan and their house is the most impressive of its kind in Georgetown..

Transfer and visit of the Kek Lok Si Temple, « supreme bliss » one of the largest Buddhist temples in Malaysia built by a Chinese immigrant in the late 19th century. It is one of the most iconic buildings in Penang. At the heart of its complex stands the Ban Po Thar, a 7-storey tower 30 metres high. Its design is said to be Burmese at its top, Chinese at its base and Thai at its centre.
Visit of the Wat Chayamangkalaram, Buddhist temple of Thai architecture, which houses one of the largest reclining Buddhas in the world, then the Burmese temple Dharmmikarama very rich in ornaments.
Passing in front of the Fort Cornwallis, close to the place where Francis Light set foot on land in 1786 when the island was almost deserted. Exterior discovery of the town hall, a superb colonial building. Continue towards Chew Jetty, « the clan jetty”, Chinese houses on stilts dating from the 19th century.
